Truly Custom
We don't keep a catalog of floor plans. Every home is designed from scratch around your lot, your lifestyle, and your vision.
Mike Walker founded MW Homes with one principle — build every home exactly the way the client wants it. Two decades later, that principle still runs the company.
My name is Mike Walker and I am the founder and operator of MW Homes. Over the past twenty-three years, I have been quietly providing quality home building for residents of the Treasure Valley — and it all comes down to one thing: building exactly what you want.
Having built over eighty custom homes, I have the experience and the relationships to get your project done right, at a price that makes sense. I work with local draftsmen, architects, and engineers I trust, and a core group of subcontractors I've partnered with for years.
We are not a production builder. The most we have ever built in a single year is ten homes, and we average four to five in recent years. That deliberate pace is intentional — it keeps every project personal, every client a priority, and the quality consistently high.
These aren't marketing taglines. They're the small set of standards that govern every project we take on — and the reason our clients keep referring us, twenty-three years in.
We don't keep a catalog of floor plans. Every home is designed from scratch around your lot, your lifestyle, and your vision.
Competitive, transparent estimates using our trusted network of local subcontractors. No markup games, no surprises mid-build.
We know you want to move in. We commit to tight, realistic timelines and communicate openly so you always know where the build stands.
We know the Treasure Valley intimately — the land, the permits, the neighborhoods. That knowledge saves time and money on every project.
When you work with MW Homes, you work with Mike. The person who answers your call is the person building your house.
Custom-only work keeps us lean and focused. We don't over-extend — which means we're here for the long haul, and so are the homes we build.
Start with a no-pressure conversation about the home you're imagining.
